Maison Mumm’s visitors center tour has been awarded a prize for the 2nd consecutive year at the World Travel Awards

The World Travel Awards Grand Final 2019 brought together at the end of 2019 in Muscat, Oman, all the main players in world tourism for its 26th edition. For the second consecutive year, Maison Mumm was awarded the prize for the best champagne cellar tour in the world for the year 2019 - a category in which the most prestigious Champagne Houses competed.

This award rewards the French excellence of the Maison on an international level. Mumm is the only French company to receive this award. Only two other sites in France - Disneyland Paris and The Peninsula Paris Hotel - were distinguished in the 2019 World Travel Awards, out of the 270 categories of the competition.
For Maison Mumm, the award is also a recognition by tourism professionals from around the world of the strong relationships that have tied it to them for all these years.
The House propposes an experience that takes visitors into the heart of its history, its cellars and its expertise in champagne production.  "We are very pleased to see our visitors center rewarded. Maison Mumm is a key player in wine tourism in Champagne. Ideally located in the city center, it allows you to take advantage of the many attractions the city of Reims, has to offer. This year, in partnership with the city of Reims, it has imagined a new experience which includes a guided tour of the Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix chapel decorated with frescoes by the painter Léonard Foujita. Through the artist - who has left a mark on both the history of Reims and that of the House – we discover a unique part of the history of the Maison Mumm.
